When playing online blackjack there are two main actions that a player can set in motion in the initial game, these are hit or stand. Hit means that the player has reviewed the two cards that he was dealt and feels that he can take another card which will lead him closer to the value of 21. The stand means that the after reviewing the cards dealt, the player is happy not to take any more cards and will stay with what he has in the belief that he will beat the dealer’s hand. Once the decisions have been made the dealers second card is then revealed and it can be determined who has won the round based on the total value of the each hand. All of these actions are based on luck alone, the only skill involved is whether the player decides to take more cards or not.
